About the role
We are seeking a Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) Manager to join our London Highways team. The role involves leading SHE initiatives across multiple sites, ensuring compliance and fostering a safe, healthy, and sustainable working environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead SHE activities across London sites, ensuring legal compliance and best‑practice standards.
- Develop and implement SHE strategies that improve performance and deliver positive outcomes.
- Conduct site inspections and audits, identifying opportunities for improvement and risk reduction.
- Coach and mentor operational teams to embed a strong safety culture throughout the business.
- Manage ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 systems while collaborating with clients on innovative solutions.
Required profile
- IOSH membership and a Diploma or equivalent qualification in Health & Safety.
- Proven experience in a similar SHE role with strong knowledge of health, safety and environmental legislation.
- Working knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
- Experience in temporary traffic management and highways projects.
