About the role
MEL Environmental Solutions Ltd is seeking a semi‑skilled Groundworker/Labourer to join its team in Bangor, Northern Ireland. The role supports residential oil‑spill projects, ensuring safe and effective environmental restoration.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out site works following safety protocols, including the Construction Phase Plan and Health & Safety Policy.
- Assist the Senior Technician/General Builder with various tasks on residential oil‑spill projects.
- Support ISO9001 Quality Management System and ISO45001 Occupational Health & Safety Management System processes.
- Perform additional tasks as directed by top management.
Required profile
- Experience in a multi‑skilled construction role such as hand digging, groundwork, drainage laying or concreting.
- Ability to operate a mini digger or dumper (preferred).
- CSCS certification and a full UK driving licence.
- Right to work in the UK and willingness to travel and work away from home.
- Willingness to undergo DBS check and pre‑employment drug and alcohol screening.
