Senior Consultant - Technology Procurement

About the role

Proxima is hiring a Senior Consultant for its IT and Technology practice within the Consulting team. You will lead complex workstreams and manage senior stakeholders while delivering innovative solutions and mentoring junior consultants. The role is client-facing, with a focus on commercial, sourcing and supplier initiatives, and is not a passive learning role.

Key responsibilities

• Support delivery across client engagements and lead teams, workstreams or projects across complex engagements.
• Assist with opportunity identification, supplier research and commercial analysis, identifying opportunities that support client value and revenue growth.
• Work directly with senior client stakeholders to gather requirements and align objectives, and communicate findings clearly and professionally.
• Lead workshops, working sessions and day-to-day client interactions.
• Coach and develop junior consultants.
• Contribute to Proxima's category thought leadership and intellectual property.
• Work in a global, flexible model in a hybrid environment, travelling as required.

Required profile

• Experience in enterprise software, IT services and/or cloud hosting, or in consulting, procurement, supply chain or a related analytical role.
• Strong knowledge of indirect procurement, ideally gained in a consultancy environment or alongside consultants.
• Experience with spend profiles over $50M annually.
• Experience supporting project delivery and managing stakeholder engagement across workstreams.
• Strong analytical capability and confidence working with data.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment and willing to travel as required.
