Senior Financial Controller

About the role

This senior finance position sits at the heart of the music industry, partnering with world‑leading record labels and artists. You will work closely with the CFO, Finance Director and other senior leaders to drive finance transformation and provide commercial insight.

Key responsibilities

• Lead month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end close processes.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, board packs and financial reporting.
• Own statutory accounts, regulatory reporting and external audit.
• Manage balance‑sheet governance, reconciliations and working‑capital optimisation.
• Maintain strong financial controls in line with UK GAAP/IFRS and regulatory requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement of finance processes and systems.
• Support strategic projects and act as a trusted adviser to senior stakeholders.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Proven experience as a Financial Controller or in senior controllership.
• Demonstrated ability to operate in a high‑visibility leadership role.
• Experience working with senior executives and influencing strategic decisions.

Required skills

• UK GAAP and IFRS compliance.
• Financial reporting and statutory account preparation.
• Balance‑sheet management and reconciliations.
• Strong financial control and audit coordination.
