Senior Quantity Surveyor – Interim (Up to 3 Years)

About the role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a three‑year interim project in Salisbury. The role offers the opportunity to take full commercial responsibility for a development, working closely with construction, technical and finance teams.
Key responsibilities
- Manage subcontractor valuations, payments and final accounts.
- Conduct regular site visits (1‑2 days per week) to monitor commercial progress and build relationships with the site team.
- Participate in monthly Cost Value Reconciliation (CVR) meetings and report on project performance.
- Oversee budgets, cost forecasts and cash flow, identifying commercial risks and opportunities.
- Prepare and submit cost reports, forecasts and financial information to senior management.
- Handle variations, contractual issues and commercial negotiations with subcontractors.
Required profile
- Recognised professional qualification in quantity surveying or a related field.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Proven experience in managing commercial aspects of construction projects.
