Senior Surveyor (12‑month Fixed‑Term)

About the role

The Senior Surveyor will manage a portfolio of commercial properties for MAPP’s clients, overseeing day‑to‑day operations, service charge budgeting and occupier liaison. You will work closely with the Associate Director of Surveying and the Building Consultancy Team to ensure compliance, proactive maintenance and high occupier satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full service delivery for assigned properties, including reporting, service charge management and compliance.
• Coordinate planned works, long‑term asset replacement plans and permit‑to‑work systems with the Building Consultancy Team.
• Monitor statutory and internal compliance, conduct audits and ensure alignment with CDM, RICS and ISO standards.
• Authorise supplier payments, prepare funding requests and support client building purchases.
• Review leases and related documents to ensure occupier compliance with obligations, licences and alterations.
• Engage with occupiers through forums, experience initiatives and placemaking activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a similar surveying or property management role.
• MRICS qualification is desirable.
• Ability to work Monday‑Thursday 9 am‑5.30 pm and Friday 9 am‑5 pm.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting and stakeholder interaction.
