Supply Teacher – Primary (Colchester)

About the role
Prospero Teaching is looking for reliable Primary Supply Teachers to work across a variety of primary schools in Colchester and surrounding areas. The role offers day‑to‑day bookings, with an immediate start and flexible full‑time or part‑time assignments.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver planned lessons across the primary age range.
- Maintain effective behaviour management and classroom discipline.
- Build rapport quickly with pupils and staff in each school.
- Follow each school’s policies, safeguarding procedures and curriculum requirements.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and primary teaching experience.
- Up‑to‑date safeguarding training (desirable).
- Right to work in the UK.
- Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
- Two professional child‑related references.
