Window and Door Fitter – South Devon (Permanent)

About the role

We are seeking skilled Window and Door Fitters to join a permanent installation team delivering high‑quality new‑build housing across South Devon. The role is full‑time, based locally with no overnight stays, and involves working on a variety of residential sites within a two‑hour radius of the depot.

Key responsibilities

• Install windows and doors on new‑build residential developments.
• Fit and finish installations to a high standard, ensuring correct alignment, sealing and operation.
• Take accurate measurements and make adjustments as required.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Follow all site health and safety procedures.
• Collaborate closely with a fitting partner and other trades on site.
• Maintain clean, organised and safe working areas.
• Complete installation records and report any issues or defects promptly.

Required profile

• Previous experience fitting windows and doors in residential or construction settings.
• Experience with casement, vertical sliding, bi‑fold, sliding patio, French doors, sidelights and composite entrance doors.
• Background in glazing, fenestration, carpentry, joinery or a related trade.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a two‑person installation team.
• Full UK driving licence.
• NVQ in Fenestration Installation or similar (desirable).
• Valid CSCS card (desirable).
