Algorithm Engineer

About the role

An exciting opportunity is available for an Algorithm Engineer to join a highly skilled engineering team developing advanced Guidance, Control and Navigation (GCN) solutions across the full product lifecycle. You will work in a multidisciplinary environment, creating sophisticated algorithms that drive the performance of current and next‑generation systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design, analyse and develop advanced algorithms for cutting‑edge engineering applications.
• Contribute to the creation of Guidance, Navigation and Control solutions.
• Support algorithm development from concept studies through to in‑service support.
• Integrate algorithms into complex systems alongside multidisciplinary teams.
• Participate in research, modelling, simulation and performance analysis activities.
• Validate and verify algorithm performance through simulation and testing.
• Help advance future technologies and new product capabilities.

Required profile

• A degree or equivalent experience in a mathematically focused discipline such as Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Control Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or Computer Science.
• Experience developing, researching or supporting algorithms in an industrial or research environment.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Interest in applying advanced technologies to real‑world engineering challenges.
