Apprentice Panel Technician – Automotive Body Repair

About the role

Join Allied Vehicles Group as an Apprentice Panel Technician and start a hands‑on career in automotive body repair. You will work full‑time while studying, gaining practical experience in a modern workshop and attending weekly training blocks at the GTG Training centre.

Key responsibilities

• Remove and replace vehicle body panels.
• Carry out body panel alignment and correction of misalignments.
• Perform MIG/MAG welding, resistance spot welding and MIG brazing on vehicle bodies.
• Maintain a safe and tidy workshop environment.
• Assist senior technicians with major exterior body repairs.

Required profile

• National 4 or above in English, Maths and a Science or Technical subject (or working towards these qualifications).
• Good IT and computer literacy.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Customer‑focused attitude with strong communication skills.
