BIM Lead / Senior BIM Technician

About the role

This senior BIM position offers the chance to lead digital design across a multidisciplinary consultancy delivering high‑profile projects in the UK. You will work closely with architects, engineers and clients to ensure coordinated, high‑quality BIM delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of BIM standards, workflows and best practice across all projects.
• Manage BIM coordination, model quality and clash detection throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support project teams with Revit modelling, information management and technical drawing production.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, consultants and clients to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Mentor junior BIM and technical staff and drive continuous improvement in digital processes.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and in line with UK building regulations and standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a BIM Lead, Senior BIM Technician or Senior Architectural Technician.
• Strong knowledge of BIM processes, standards and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Excellent understanding of UK Building Regulations and construction detailing.
• Ability to lead technical teams while remaining hands‑on with project delivery.
• Experience across RIBA work stages, especially technical design and construction.
• Proactive team player with a passion for digital innovation.
