Blue Prism Developer – Process Excellence & Automation

About the role

IWG is seeking an experienced Blue Prism Developer to join its Process Excellence & Automation team. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality, scalable automations and driving continuous process improvements across multiple business functions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop end‑to‑end automation solutions in Blue Prism, spending ~80% of time on hands‑on development.
• Apply continuous improvement principles to optimise processes and automations while adhering to strict change control.
• Conduct impact analysis to understand how new or updated automations affect broader operations and customer experience.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and stakeholders to translate as‑is processes into optimal automated to‑be solutions.
• Author detailed SIT and UAT test scripts, lead structured test cycles, and ensure quality‑driven testing.
• Prepare deployment packages, schedule releases, and produce Hypercare documentation.
• Provide production support, including triage, root‑cause analysis and incident resolution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 + years recent hands‑on Blue Prism development (within the last 3 years) and Blue Prism Professional Developer accreditation.
• Proven track record of delivering at least 8 completed automation projects per year.
• 2 + years experience in software development or system configuration using C#, C++, Java or equivalent.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills; ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, global environment.
