Business Development Manager – Construction & Civil Engineering

About the role

The company is a fast‑growing global provider of sustainable stormwater solutions, looking for a Business Development Manager to lead commercial activity across the northern region of the UK. You will work with civil engineering contractors, groundworks specialists, developers and tier‑1 construction firms to identify and secure new infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and nurture relationships with civil engineering contractors, groundworks companies and developers.
• Identify and win opportunities on drainage, utilities and other infrastructure projects.
• Target framework agreements and repeat‑work contracts.
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline of regional construction projects.
• Manage key accounts and expand existing client relationships.
• Represent the company at industry meetings, site visits and project discussions.

Required profile

• Proven B2B sales experience within construction, civil engineering, infrastructure or building products.
• Strong relationship‑building and networking abilities.
• Track record of developing regional territories and securing project‑based work.
• Commercially driven with a proactive approach to new business.
