Carpenter – Multi‑Trade Repairs (Full‑time)

About the role

If you’re an experienced carpenter who can turn your hand to a range of jobs and takes pride in your work, we’d like to hear from you. You will work in customers’ homes delivering day‑to‑day repairs, maintenance and exceptional customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out multi‑trade repairs with a primary focus on carpentry, including doors, frames, skirting, architraves, flooring, kitchen units and worktops.
• Diagnose and resolve minor plumbing‑related issues, tiling, patch plastering and basic wall repairs.
• Complete carpentry works in kitchens, bathrooms, doors, windows and other areas to a high standard.
• Undertake associated tasks such as sealing, decorating touch‑ups, replacing fixtures, fittings, locks and ironmongery.
• Record work completed, materials used and update progress through work orders and reporting systems.

Required profile

• Solid experience in carpentry and ability to perform general maintenance and multi‑trade repairs.
• Confident use of hand and power tools and ability to work independently.
• Good communication skills and a customer‑friendly attitude.
• Physically fit for hands‑on work and hold a full, valid UK driving licence.
• Experience in social housing is a plus.
