Civil Works Superintendent

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Civil Works Superintendent to lead a small team on a large Energy Transition project in Talacre, North Wales. The role offers an outside‑IR35 contract and the chance to work on a high‑profile Carbon Capture Storage initiative.

Key responsibilities

• Promote safe work practices and environmental protection, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Monitor subcontracted and directly hired works to meet quality, contractual and QHSE requirements.
• Develop and maintain the project schedule, coordinating human and technical resources.
• Arrange cost‑effective execution of civil construction works in line with operating programmes.
• Produce progress reports, highlight deviations and propose corrective actions.
• Control production efficiency and productivity, interfacing with the wider project organisation.
• Support resolution of technical civil issues encountered on site.
• Manage technical and administrative documentation and ensure timely MC certification and punch‑list clearance.

Required profile

• 15‑20 years of experience in civil works, preferably as a subcontractor site manager or similar supervisory role.
• Relevant technical diploma or equivalent qualification.
