Class 1 HGV Driver – Full‑time

About the role

We are looking for Class 1 HGV drivers to join our Transport Team at the Booker Retail Partner site. The role involves safe, multi‑drop deliveries of stock to independent retailer stores across the South East, with overtime opportunities and fully funded CPC training. You will work 48 hours per week on a rotating two‑week shift pattern, typically starting between 07:00‑11:00, and enjoy air‑conditioned vehicles and a 30‑minute paid break.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver stock safely to multiple retailer locations, often in adverse weather.
• Hand‑ball and manually handle goods at delivery points.
• Maintain up‑to‑date Driver CPC qualifications through provided training.
• Follow rotating shift schedules and adhere to break and safety procedures.

Required profile

• Valid Class 1 licence holder.
• Driver CPC qualification.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service.
• Physical capability to perform manual handling tasks.
• Flexibility to work varying hours and respond to short‑notice changes.
