About the role
Join our client’s waste collection team as a Class 2 HGV Driver, operating in Barrow-in-Furness and surrounding areas. You will be responsible for safely transporting and collecting general and recyclable waste from commercial and domestic customers.
Key responsibilities
- Collect general and recyclable waste from assigned routes.
- Operate and drive the client’s refuse collection HGV safely.
- Assist as a recycling operative when required.
- Complete all paperwork and documentation accurately and on time.
- Maintain physical stamina to handle demanding peak periods.
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Required profile
- Valid Category C (Class 2) HGV driving licence.
- Current Driver CPC qualification.
- Digital tachograph driver card.
- Reasonably fit and willing to go the extra mile.

- Competitive hourly rate of £15.85.
- Full‑time schedule: Monday‑Friday, 5 am‑2 pm.
