Construction Remediation Supervisor (12‑Month Contract)

About the role

We are seeking a Construction Remediation Supervisor to join the Liverpool Bay Project, focusing on de‑commissioning and carbon capture & storage. Reporting to the Construction Site Manager, you will oversee subcontractors delivering soil and groundwater remediation works, ensuring safety, compliance and coordination with other site activities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide oversight of soil classification, waste management and soil‑reuse decisions.
• Supervise daily subcontractor remediation operations, ensuring adherence to RAMS, the remediation strategy and principal contractor standards.
• Coordinate remediation works with other site operations to avoid clashes and maintain safe working conditions.
• Oversee groundwater management, including pumping, treatment systems, monitoring and discharge controls.
• Ensure all reuse decisions comply with CL:AIRE DoWCoP, the Materials Management Plan or project‑specific criteria.
• Monitor environmental controls such as dust suppression, odour management, noise mitigation and surface‑water protection.
• Review and sign off subcontractor daily records, waste transfer notes, stockpile logs and site diaries.
• Maintain full compliance with CDM duties and principal contractor responsibilities.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years’ experience in soils remediation or similar activities within a project environment.
• Relevant certifications such as CSCS Supervisor, SSSTS or SMSTS.
• Proven ability to supervise subcontractors and manage site investigations.
