Cyber Security Analyst (Hybrid, Felixstowe)

About the role

Bristow Holland Ltd is looking for a motivated Cyber Security Analyst to join its expanding security team in Felixstowe. The role operates on a hybrid model, split evenly between remote work and office presence, offering a supportive environment to develop practical skills across security operations, governance and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Support day‑to‑day IT and cybersecurity operations.
• Monitor security alerts and respond to incidents promptly.
• Maintain and improve network and system security controls.
• Assist with Cyber Essentials and ISO 27001 compliance activities.
• Provide documentation and support for internal and external security audits.
• Contribute to security policies, procedures and related documentation.
• Work closely with IT and infrastructure teams to identify vulnerabilities.
• Gain exposure to vulnerability management and conduct risk assessments.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience in cyber or IT security, or a relevant degree.
• CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification is a plus.
• Strong interest in cybersecurity and IT infrastructure.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS and firewalls.
• Good communication skills, analytical mindset and attention to detail.
