Experienced Production Operator – Cheeses

About the role

Saputo Nuneaton, a centre of excellence with 450 employees, processes and packages cheeses such as Cathedral City, Davidstow and Wensleydale. It is hiring experienced production operators for a 24/7 shift pattern of 43 hours per week (2 days, 2 nights, 4 off, 6:45am–7pm and 6:45pm–7am) at a salary of £35,576.40, with a bonus of up to £920 per year.

Key responsibilities

• Work as part of the Operations team in an air temperature of 12°C
• Carry out manual handling tasks, cheese cutting, yield understanding and control, line set-up and operate wrapping machines
• Use machinery and materials handling equipment
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures, site policies and Safe Systems of Work

Required profile

• Experience as an operator in a food production environment
• Knowledge of health and safety and food safety
• Comfortable with manual handling
• Able to adapt to an ever-changing production environment
• Experience working with different types of machinery
