Group Financial Controller

About the role

The Group Financial Controller will lead the financial control function for a fast‑growing global venture capital firm. Reporting to the Global Finance Director, this senior position offers high visibility and the chance to shape finance processes across multiple continents.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of eight finance professionals located in the UK, Poland and Singapore.
• Oversee month‑end, year‑end and group consolidation processes.
• Manage intercompany accounting, reconciliations and IFRS reporting.
• Partner with regional finance teams to ensure consistency and reporting accuracy.
• Lead external audits and maintain a robust control environment.
• Drive finance transformation, process improvement and systems enhancements.

Required profile

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Strong experience in financial control, group reporting or consolidations.
• Proven leadership experience managing international finance teams.
• Excellent understanding of IFRS and multi‑entity accounting.
• Commercially minded with excellent stakeholder management skills.

What we offer

• Competitive salary of £90,000.
