Group Financial Controller – Multinational Consumer Business

About the role

We are looking for an experienced finance leader to join a listed multinational consumer group as Group Financial Controller. Reporting to the Group CFO, you will be a key member of the leadership team, responsible for delivering accurate financial information and supporting strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead group reporting and FP&A activities across multiple business units.
• Oversee statutory compliance, governance, risk and controls, tax and treasury functions.
• Prepare consolidated IFRS financial statements and manage year‑end reporting.
• Coordinate the external audit process and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Drive improvements in reporting, controls, systems and finance processes.
• Provide commercial and strategic support through planning, analysis and M&A due diligence.
• Manage and develop a senior finance team across regions.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with significant international experience.
• Strong technical accounting expertise in IFRS, UK GAAP and complex multi‑entity, multi‑currency consolidations.
• Proven experience in external reporting, statutory compliance, tax and treasury.
• Demonstrated leadership of senior finance professionals in a global environment.
