Group Internal Auditor

About the role

The Group Internal Auditor will support the delivery of internal audits across a global business, providing assurance to the Executive Committee and Board that risk, governance and internal control frameworks are well designed and operating effectively. The role operates in a hybrid model with occasional international travel.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the internal audit function in executing the annual audit plan.
• Perform risk assessment procedures and evaluate processes and controls.
• Conduct testing of controls and prepare detailed audit reports.
• Monitor audit findings and follow‑up on remediation actions.
• Undertake ad‑hoc audit‑related duties as required.

Required profile

• Qualified ACA or ACCA professional.
• Experience from a Big 4 or Top 10 audit practice.
• Strong communication skills for liaising with senior stakeholders.
• Motivation to transition from external audit to an in‑house audit function within a large listed company.
