HGV Class 1 Driver – Banbury

About the role

Our client in Banbury is seeking a qualified HGV Class 1 driver to join a dedicated team delivering customers' goods safely across the UK and occasionally abroad. You will work alongside drivers and porters, handling a variety of personal and commercial items.

Key responsibilities

• Transport goods to multiple destinations, ensuring safe loading and unloading.
• Interact with customers face‑to‑face and via telephone to coordinate moves.
• Perform manual handling of heavy items both on and off the vehicle.
• Work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and up to 52 hours per week.

Required profile

• Full Class 1 licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Minimum 6 months of relevant driving experience.
• Digital tachograph card and CPC qualification.
• Self‑motivated team player with good communication skills.

Required skills

• CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification.
