About the role
Our client, a leading organisation in the leisure, travel and tourism sector, is seeking an IT Project Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. The role is hybrid, requiring 1‑2 days per week in the Woking office, and focuses on delivering end‑to‑end IT projects and change initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Own the full lifecycle of IT projects, from concept through deployment and transition to BAU.
- Define scope, create plans, budgets and resource allocations while managing multiple concurrent projects.
- Develop business cases, RAID logs, communication plans and adhere to governance frameworks.
- Provide status reporting, manage risks, issues and change control processes.
- Oversee financial aspects, including budgeting, forecasting, spend and procurement.
- Engage and communicate with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership.
- Lead business change activities, ensuring readiness, adoption and benefit realisation.
- Build and manage project teams, allocating work and tracking performance.
Required profile
- Proven experience delivering IT projects end‑to‑end.
- Strong stakeholder and matrix delivery management skills.
- Supplier management experience.
- Commercial awareness and excellent communication abilities.
