Maintenance Technician (Night Shift)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Maintenance Technician to join our Sittingbourne warehouse on a night‑shift schedule (6 PM – 4:30 AM). You will be responsible for keeping the facility safe, organised and fully operational by performing routine maintenance and rapid repairs.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and respond to urgent repair requests across the warehouse.
• Maintain building fabric, including doors, racking, minor plumbing, painting and general repairs.
• Perform equipment checks, diagnose faults and implement effective solutions.
• Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with site health‑and‑safety standards.
• Record all work accurately and coordinate with external contractors when required.
• Support operations teams with small layout changes and continuous improvement projects.

Required profile

• Proven experience in maintenance or facilities work within a warehouse or industrial environment.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and communicate clearly.
• Positive, reliable attitude with a strong focus on safety.
