Materials Test Engineer – Composites & Adhesives

About the role

We are seeking a Materials Test Engineer to join a market‑leading company specialising in composite materials and adhesives for aerospace, Formula One and defence clients. The role is workshop‑based, offers flexible hours and provides full industry training and clear progression routes.

Key responsibilities

• Manufacture, test and evaluate a variety of composite materials and adhesives.
• Produce detailed test reports for internal and client use.
• Work within a small technical team to become a product expert.
• Maintain workshop standards while adhering to flexible working hours.

Required profile

• Background in Materials Engineering, Test Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience with composite materials and adhesives testing.
• Ability to commute from Honiton, Exeter, Taunton, Sidmouth, Cullompton, Chard, Wellington, Lyme Regis or surrounding areas.
• Ambitious attitude with a desire for technical progression.
