About the role
We are seeking a Mechanical Fitter to join a leading multinational manufacturing organisation in Glasgow. The role is days‑based, Monday to Friday, offering a competitive salary of £44,000‑£48,000 plus overtime, training and progression opportunities.
Key responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical issues and carry out repairs on manufacturing equipment.
- Support the installation of new machinery and equipment.
- Perform mechanical maintenance, service and heavy repairs.
- Carry out mechanical fitting tasks across the production floor.
Required profile
- Proven experience in welding and fabrication.
- HNC or HND qualification in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Desire for a stable, days‑based role with clear progression pathways.
