Modern Workplace Solutions Consultant

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Modern Workplace Solutions Consultant to join our growing technology services business. You will lead Microsoft 365‑focused projects for SME customers, improving security, compliance and user experience across their workplaces.

Key responsibilities

• Lead Microsoft 365 onboarding and implementation projects for customers.
• Deliver security and device‑management solutions using best‑practice frameworks.
• Configure and implement Entra ID (Azure AD), Conditional Access, Intune, Defender, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive and Teams.
• Manage device onboarding for Windows, macOS, iOS and Android platforms.
• Coordinate project timelines, activities and client communications.
• Support ongoing security‑posture improvements and standardisation initiatives.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to documentation and best‑practice development.
• Assist with cloud migration and infrastructure projects as required.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering Microsoft 365 implementation and onboarding projects.
• Strong hands‑on expertise with Microsoft Intune, Conditional Access, Defender and Entra ID.
• Excellent customer‑facing communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
• Broad understanding of IT infrastructure, including Windows Server, Active Directory and networking fundamentals.
