Multi‑Skilled Joiner

About the role

We are seeking a Multi‑Skilled Joiner to join our Stockport, Glossor and Buxton team delivering rapid‑response repairs and general multi‑trade work for social housing. This is a permanent, 39‑hour per week position with an out‑of‑hours call‑out rota that includes additional payment.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out a range of repairs and maintenance tasks across housing properties.
• Perform basic plumbing, tiling, joinery, groundwork, mould washes/treatment and flooring installation.
• Respond to out‑of‑hours call‑outs as part of a rota.
• Record work performed accurately and follow agreed procedures.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines when treating damp and mould.

Required profile

• Demonstrated competence in your primary trade with ability to undertake multi‑trade tasks.
• Experience in a customer‑focused environment, preferably within social housing.
• Methodical approach, ability to meet targets and work with minimal supervision.
• Strong organisational and time‑management skills.
• Physical capability to perform manual tasks safely.
