About the role
We are looking for a part‑time corporate receptionist to manage the front‑of‑house services of an office building in central Manchester. Working Monday‑Friday from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, you will be the first point of contact for tenants, visitors and service providers, helping to create a welcoming community atmosphere.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain a tidy, presentable reception area and greet all visitors, following sign‑in procedures.
- Handle deliveries, couriers and post, ensuring accurate distribution.
- Produce weekly update reports for building stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the Building Manager to report and resolve building issues.
- Support letting agents by keeping vacant office spaces clean and ready for viewings.
- Develop and maintain a local amenities information file for tenants.
- Research and deliver tenant‑focused initiatives, freebies and services.
- Create a monthly e‑newsletter to promote concierge services and community events.
Required profile
- Proven experience in a front‑of‑house or reception role.
- Personable, proactive and confident with excellent customer‑service skills.
- Ability to multitask in a busy environment and work independently.
- Strong written and verbal communication, able to interact with a range of stakeholders.
Required skills
- Competent Microsoft Office user.
- Familiarity with social‑media apps and Canva.
