Private Banking Manager – Winchester

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Private Banking Manager for our Winchester branch. You will manage and develop a portfolio of private banking customers, driving profitable growth through proactive promotion of the bank’s products and services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and grow a portfolio of new and existing private banking customers through high‑level service and business development.
• Build and maintain relationships with professional firms, brokers, and business introducers to generate referrals.
• Identify cross‑selling opportunities across wealth management, savings, mortgages and other bank products.
• Prepare credit applications, evaluate financial information and structure lending transactions in line with the bank’s credit policy.
• Partner with functional stakeholders to ensure customers receive the full range of Handelsbanken services.
• Operate within the bank’s risk management framework and escalate concerns as needed.

Required profile

• Proven success in business development and originating new customer business.
• Experience managing a portfolio of professionals, business owners or high‑net‑worth individuals, preferably in a relationship‑focused banking or financial advisory environment.
• Familiarity with local market dynamics and broker networks is highly desirable.
• Strong ability to influence, build and maintain long‑lasting professional relationships.
