Project Manager – Construction & Renovation (London)

About the role

Cohabs is expanding its co‑living portfolio across London and needs a hands‑on Project Manager to drive renovation, design and cost‑management activities. Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, you will oversee multiple building projects from acquisition through handover, ensuring they meet budget, schedule and ESG targets.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Project Director in developing renovation budgets, timelines and scope of work.
• Review architectural and engineering drawings, coordinate the design phase and obtain planning permits.
• Lead contractor tendering, evaluate bids and manage contractor relationships on‑site.
• Monitor project budgets, track spending and produce regular financial reports for senior management.
• Visit construction sites weekly, conduct plan checks, and ensure adherence to sustainability and ESG goals.
• Oversee building opening activities, including testing MEP systems, managing handover to Property Management and supervising FFE installation.
• Maintain punch lists, drive close‑out activities, and resolve post‑opening warranty issues.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in construction project management, preferably on renovation or repositioning of existing buildings.
• Proven ability to work on‑site, challenge contractors and make decisions in ambiguous situations.
• Strong network of partners such as contractors, architects and suppliers.
• Excellent judgment and decision‑making skills.
• Experience managing budgets, schedules and ESG targets in real‑estate projects.
