Research Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Research Engineer to drive cutting‑edge AI projects that span both applied semiconductor design and fundamental machine‑learning research. The role blends implementation of novel algorithms with building prototypes that translate theory into practical systems.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and evaluate research ideas in machine learning and artificial intelligence.
• Develop prototypes and support experiments for internal and external projects.
• Collaborate with researchers to turn theoretical models into usable tools.
• Maintain and enhance research infrastructure, tools, and workflows.
• Prepare technical documentation and reports.
• Stay current with advances in AI, large language models, reinforcement learning, and optimization methods.

Required profile

• Proven experience implementing machine‑learning algorithms.
• Strong programming skills in Python and/or C++.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Good communication skills for documenting and explaining technical work.
