Revit Technician – Building Services (MEP)

About the role

We are seeking a Revit Technician to join our Building Services team in Birmingham. The role focuses on creating and coordinating high‑quality MEP models for a variety of sectors, including residential, commercial, education, industrial and regeneration projects.

Key responsibilities

• Produce detailed 3D MEP models in Revit across multiple project stages.
• Support the coordination and production of mechanical and electrical building services drawings and models.
• Carry out clash detection and model coordination using Revit and Navisworks.
• Work closely with engineers, consultants and external design teams to resolve technical issues.
• Assist with BIM deliverables in line with project standards and best practice.
• Support model audits, coordination reviews and design compliance processes.
• Prepare information for design reviews, construction and project handover.
• Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, clients and stakeholders throughout project delivery.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of BIM workflows and processes.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Revit Technician within an MEP or Building Services environment.
• Strong Revit capabilities with experience producing coordinated 3D MEP models.
• Experience carrying out clash detection and technical coordination.
• Understanding of BIM standards, workflows and collaborative working practices.
• COBie knowledge or experience is beneficial.
• Excellent communication skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
