Senior Accountant

About the role

Novabook is looking for a Senior Accountant to support a portfolio of 100‑150 fast‑growing start‑ups in the UK and US. You will ensure high‑quality service delivery while handling management accounts, bespoke accounting processes, and month‑end close activities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review management accounts for a diverse client base.
• Execute month‑end close tasks, including pre‑payments, accruals, and journal entries.
• Design and implement bespoke accounting processes tailored to each client’s needs.
• Collaborate with the broader Novabook team to maintain service standards and client satisfaction.

Required profile

• Proven experience in accounting, preferably within a start‑up or high‑growth environment.
• Strong understanding of UK and US accounting standards.
• Ability to work independently on‑site five days a week.
• Commitment to delivering accurate, timely financial information.
