Senior Financial Controller

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Financial Controller to join a leading music‑industry finance function in London. Working closely with the CFO, Finance Director and senior executives, you will own the monthly reporting cycle, statutory accounts, audit and financial control while contributing to strategic finance transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end close processes.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, board packs and financial reporting.
• Own statutory accounts, regulatory reporting and external audit coordination.
• Manage balance‑sheet governance, reconciliations and working‑capital optimisation.
• Maintain strong financial controls and ensure compliance with UK GAAP/IFRS.
• Drive continuous improvement of finance processes and systems.
• Support strategic projects and act as a trusted adviser to senior stakeholders.
• Partner with major and independent record labels, providing commercial insight.
• Lead and develop a high‑performing finance team and deputise for the Finance Director.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Proven experience as a Financial Controller or in senior controllership.
• Confidence to operate in a highly visible leadership role.
