Senior Mechanical Project Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Project Manager to join a fast‑growing contractor operating in the data‑centre and mission‑critical construction sector. Reporting directly to the Project Director, you will become part of the leadership team, overseeing mechanical works from design through to handover.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full lifecycle of mechanical projects, including design coordination, tender assessment, procurement and execution.
• Manage subcontractors, vendors and daily site activities to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Control programme schedules, budgets and risk registers, implementing early‑warning systems for potential changes.
• Develop value‑engineering solutions and oversee the handover of completed projects to operations teams.
• Engage with clients to understand requirements, manage expectations and maintain strong relationships.

Required profile

• Extensive background in mechanical construction and MEP engineering.
• Proven track record delivering complex commercial, industrial, logistics, pharmaceutical or mission‑critical projects.
• Experience leading high‑value construction programmes in fast‑paced environments.
• Familiarity with the complete project lifecycle from design to commissioning and handover.
