About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Specialist Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional or complex needs in a vibrant primary school environment. You will work closely with teachers to adapt learning, prepare resources and implement individual learning plans, including sensory diets.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with teachers to tailor curriculum and resources for pupils below age‑related expectations.
- Develop and deliver personalised learning programmes and sensory‑based activities.
- Monitor and record pupil progress against individual learning plans.
- Provide targeted support in areas such as EAL, behaviour and SEN.
- Assist with classroom management and promote an inclusive learning atmosphere.
Required profile
- GCSEs or equivalent qualifications.
- Proven experience supporting pupils with SEND or complex needs.
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant.
- Positive, enthusiastic attitude and a passion for helping children succeed.

What we offer
- Permanent contract with a salary range of £26,522 – £28,742 pro rata (starting salary £19,271 full‑time).
- 32.5 hours per week, term‑time only (38 weeks per year).
