About the role

Morrisons is recruiting a Store Colleague for its Morrisons Daily store on Hollyguest Road in Bristol. The role is permanent, covers 20 hours per week and offers a competitive hourly pay of £10.85 to £12.71 depending on age. The store sells convenience goods and involves regular lone working, so candidates must be comfortable working alone in the store.

Key responsibilities

• Cover a range of store tasks after training, including till and cash operation (Post Office as required, subject to DBS)
• Stock control and merchandising
• Prepare Food to Go as required
• Keep the store operating safely and legally
• Cover the supervisor role in the store (with additional pay for hours covered)
• Carry out lone working, which is an essential and routine part of the role

Required profile

• Loves going above and beyond for customers
• Flexible approach to working hours, including early mornings and some late nights
• Enjoys a fast-paced, varied environment
• Confident working independently when lone working is required
• For premises selling alcohol, candidates must be over 18 due to licensing conditions
