Store Manager - Bradley Stoke

About the role

Toolstation, part of Travis Perkins plc, is hiring a Store Manager for its Bradley Stoke store in Bristol. The post is permanent and full time, 40 hours per week, with a salary of £30,765.03 per year. Stores are open from 7 AM to 8 PM, so early starts and late finishes are required.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the branch and deliver an outstanding customer proposition, serving customers, checking deliveries, picking items from the warehouse and stocking shelves
• Deliver great service by ensuring the team provides a great customer experience and drives sales through service
• Help the team get the job done: check and unpack deliveries, open and close the branch, clean, put orders together and maintain product availability and branch standards
• Build a positive culture of feedback, praise and recognition, and coach, motivate and engage the team
• Support team development, future business growth and succession, and build relationships with customers

Required profile

• Track record of developing high-performing, engaged retail teams
• Dedication to leading a team to deliver sales through customer service
• Team player willing to get hands dirty and develop future leaders
• Customer focus, resilience and flexibility, with effective planning
