Structural Integrity Engineer

About the role

Wood is seeking a Structural Integrity Engineer to support its Operated Assets business in Aberdeen. The role combines technical consultancy with hands‑on management of offshore equipment, ensuring reliability, safety and client satisfaction while working in a hybrid environment (four days in the office, one day remote).

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain structural integrity management plans for offshore assets.
• Conduct fitness‑for‑service evaluations, anomaly assessments and life‑extension studies.
• Review and interpret inspection data from NDT, ROV, diving and UAV sources.
• Use a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to oversee routine operations, schedule maintenance and organise repairs.
• Identify opportunities to improve production facilities, reduce breakdowns and lower associated costs.
• Plan and manage resources, both personnel and equipment, to meet client requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in structural integrity engineering for offshore assets.
• Strong knowledge of inspection techniques such as NDT, ROV, diving and UAV.
• Ability to develop and implement integrity management plans.
• Excellent planning and resource‑management skills.
• Commitment to safety, reliability and client satisfaction.
