Trainee Surveyor – Entry Level Position

About the role

Bloor Homes is seeking an enthusiastic Trainee Surveyor to join its East Midlands team in Hinckley. This entry‑level position offers a structured learning pathway, a competitive salary, and full support to achieve an industry‑recognised qualification while gaining hands‑on experience in residential construction.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out site measurements and assist the Surveyor with drawing take‑offs.
• Maintain and update the SMAS database, SWMP Carriers Matrix, and material supplier records.
• Support pricing of non‑standard client extras and contribute to Cost of Sales updates.
• Assist in preparing Health & Safety packs, Code for Sustainable Homes documentation, and Group Rebate Forms.
• Process invoices, utility bills, and site bookings in line with commercial procedures.
• Help the Surveyor/Construction Director update build completion dates in Eque2.
