SEND Tutor/Teacher – Maths, English or Science (UK)

About the role

Join an impact‑driven community dedicated to transforming the lives of young people with SEND and SEMH needs. As a SEND Tutor or Teacher you will deliver flexible, trauma‑informed tuition in Maths, English or Science to pupils ranging from KS1 to KS5, either in‑person, online or in a hybrid format.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver personalised lessons for children, teenagers and young adults with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD or PMLD.
• Provide in‑person, remote or hybrid tutoring based on the learner’s location and needs.
• Maintain accurate lesson plans, progress reports and regular feedback for students and their families.
• Collaborate with local schools and authorities to ensure a safe, supportive learning environment.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience, preferably with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD or PMLD learners.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS).
• Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain one) and two professional references.
• Right to work in the UK.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of safeguarding practices.
