Turnkey – Water Mains Renewal Operator

About the role

As a Turnkey you will join the Operations Team delivering water‑mains renewal projects across the North West. Based on site in Worsley you will work on schemes in Manchester, Cheshire, Merseyside and Lancashire, operating water valves to support scheduled shut‑offs.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out valve shut‑offs in line with prescribed risk assessments and programme schedules.
• Complete full‑scheme valve assessments before works commence.
• Perform customer carding where required and maintain records.
• Build relationships with onsite operations teams and key customer stakeholders.
• Collaborate with United Utilities Network team on service location and asset identification.
• Assist with site investigations to locate services and assets.
• Promote good practice on water hygiene, water quality and site compliance.

Required profile

• Proven knowledge and experience in the water industry, particularly water rehabilitation.
• NRSWA accreditation.
• CALM network training.
• Valid UK driving licence.
