Warehouse Operator – Stockroom & Customer Service

About the role

We are looking for a Warehouse Operator to join our dynamic team supporting the Customer Channels Group within our Managed Services division. Based in Glasgow, you will manage stockroom operations, handle orders and provide laboratory support to improve supply chain efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, put-away, rotate stock and conduct cycle counts and replenishment activities.
• Enter orders, expedite shipments, resolve customer service calls and manage back-orders and returns.
• Deliver direct shipments to end users and perform on-site deliveries as required.
• Follow Best Practices, SOPs and work instructions under supervision.
• Use material handling equipment such as push carts and pallet jacks.
• Maintain a professional presence at customer locations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in stock control and warehousing.
• Valid UK driving licence.
• Ability to lift, push and pull at least 15 kg (occasionally up to 20 kg).
• Willingness to work beyond normal business hours and overtime.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for customer interaction.

Required skills

• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• General computer literacy.
• Operation of material handling equipment (push carts, pallet jacks).
