Field Sales Engineer – Imaging

About the role

This is a field‑based position managing and growing a portfolio of key accounts for a leading technology distributor. You will identify new business opportunities across the UK and work closely with customers, suppliers and technical specialists to deliver cutting‑edge imaging solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new business and expand existing customer accounts.
• Identify and win design‑in opportunities for OEM imaging solutions.
• Provide technical and commercial support throughout the sales cycle.
• Build strong relationships with engineers, purchasing teams and senior decision‑makers.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate contracts and close sales.
• Collaborate with technical experts to deliver bespoke customer solutions.
• Represent the business at customer visits, exhibitions and industry events.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and keep CRM data up to date.

Required profile

• Proven experience selling OEM cameras, thermal imaging or scientific imaging products.
• Strong knowledge of the imaging market and related technologies.
• Track record of success in technical B2B sales.
• Technical qualification in Electronics, Physics, Engineering or a related discipline (highly desirable).
• Full UK driving licence.
