Network Facilitator / Programme Manager

About the role

The Electrical Network Group is seeking a Network Facilitator / Programme Manager to lead its Cluster Acceleration Programme. This role sits at the heart of the UK and Northern Ireland electrical sector transformation, coordinating collaboration among contractors, manufacturers, utilities, academia, and government.

Key responsibilities

• Establish, coordinate and manage the Electrical Network Group and its working groups, defining governance and operating procedures.
• Develop and secure approval for the annual project plan, overseeing delivery of strategic initiatives.
• Lead programmes in HV training, competence frameworks, asset management best practice, market opportunity mapping and collaborative bid formation.
• Facilitate industry‑academia partnerships, supply‑chain capability building and international collaboration for export opportunities.
• Monitor progress, manage risks, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Required profile

• Proven experience in programme or project management within the electrical, energy or infrastructure sectors.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills with ability to build relationships across industry, academia and government.
• Excellent analytical and strategic thinking to identify market opportunities and develop collaborative solutions.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
