General Manager for Premium Reformer Pilates Studio

About the role

The General Manager will launch and lead a brand‑new premium Reformer Pilates studio on King’s Road, Chelsea. Joining ahead of the January opening, you will train in existing London locations before shaping the studio’s culture, team and community from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Complete an immersive training period across existing studios to learn operations, standards and the member journey.
• Recruit, onboard and develop the founding Chelsea team across front‑of‑house and coaching.
• Drive pre‑sale membership campaigns, acquire founding members and build local partnerships.
• Oversee launch readiness, including systems, stock, equipment and studio presentation.
• Lead day‑to‑day studio operations, ensuring exceptional member experience and hospitality‑led service.
• Own commercial performance, meeting revenue, profitability and KPI targets.
• Monitor studio KPIs, implement performance‑maximising strategies and collaborate with marketing on local campaigns.
• Maintain studio standards of cleanliness, presentation and health & safety compliance.

Required profile

• Previous management experience in boutique fitness, wellness, hospitality or a premium customer‑focused business.
• Proven track record of driving membership sales, retention and commercial performance.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing customer‑facing teams.
• Excellent operational understanding, staffing and KPI management.
• Available to start by early December and flexible to work early mornings, evenings and weekends.

• Experience using Mindbody or similar studio management software.
