Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Focus)

About the role

This position offers a unique opportunity to join a prestigious residential student accommodation estate in Central London as a Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias. You will work across several buildings, handling both planned and reactive maintenance while supporting minor projects.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs for electrical, mechanical and building services.
• Diagnose, maintain and repair electrical systems, lighting, power supplies and related equipment.
• Perform electrical installations, upgrades and asset replacement projects.
• Undertake fault‑finding and remedial work on plumbing, HVAC and building fabric systems.
• Support contractor works, isolations, temporary services and project activities.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years’ experience in building maintenance, facilities or property management.
• Strong electrical maintenance and fault‑finding abilities.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, HVAC and mechanical systems.
• Experience in residential, student accommodation, hospitality or education environments.
• Proactive problem‑solver with good communication and organisational skills.
